Blog 1 (sorry its late)
Welcome to Class 3! Welcome everyone to the Year 3 blog. Apologies for the delay in getting started. I will endeavour to update blog on a weekly basis from now on. We had had a great start to the year. I want to say a big thank you to all the children and parents that have been so supportive. The children have reacted really well to the new routines, and I have been so impressed with their behaviours. As a class we have talked in depth about resilience, and how we will all make mistakes, (including me) and how that is an important part of our learning. Thank-you to all the children for their help. Reading As a class, we will be doing lots of reading in class this year. They should be reading a variety of boos through the year. This includes the reading books from school and books that they have chosen from the library. These reading for pleasure books may be above their reading level so please make sure you are reading with them as much as you can at home. As readers, we ...
